Sun Valley Mall Summer Field trip

Our first summer field trip for 2018 was shopping and eating at the Sun Valley Mall.

My favorite thing about the Sun Valley Mall field trip was:

Paris Beauty College

In the month of November, the Life Skills students were able to go to the Paris Beauty College in Concord and receive free services such as haircuts, facials, manicures, and pedicures. It was so relaxing! 

Summer Concerts

During the summer, the Life Skills students take Bart to the Oakland City Center for the free concerts and lunch. The students love dancing and socializing with their friends!

Color Me Mine

 Yesterday, the Arts & Crafts class had the wonderful opportunity of going to Color Me Mine in Walnut Creek! Some students chose to paint plates and other students chose to paint a coffee mug. We were able to use stamps, stencils, paint pens, and any colors we wanted! We can't wait to get our finished projects next week after they are glazed.

Crab Cove Field Trip

Today we went on a very fun field trip to Crab Cove in Alameda.

Today, the Life Skills students walked to Todos Santos Plaza for lunch in the park. After, we all walked to the Brenden Movie Theaters to see The Jungle Book.

Field Trip to Soul Food Farm

On Tuesday, we had a field trip to Soul Food Farm in Vacaville. We had lunch, went on a tour of the farm, saw the animals, and learned about farming. It was a great day for all!

Our Fun Adventure!

Our class went on an all day outing to a city near us. We took BART and then some of the group watched a dance performance and the rest of us went shopping. Then, we went to Mel's for lunch. 

David- I liked the dance.
Jennifer- I bought myself lunch. I had taco salad and a water.
Erin- I liked Mel's Diner.
Rachele- I liked getting out of school and enjoying the fresh air.
Lizanne- I liked watching the ladies dancing.
Nicole- I had a milkshake at lunch.
Julia- I was the class photographer and took lots of pictures.
